Intertale/Eutopia Stop 4: Radstadt, Austria

Wilhelm Scherübl, is an artist I have been working with on and off for many years. Willi comes from Radstadt and while he has studied in Vienna, life has always drawn him back to this place surrounded by mountains of 2500+m. Most recently he built himself a studio high up on 1200m with a view that you can use as a fultime television. Linking with other locally based artists, from here he gets thinking, walking and making time.

I had the great fortune to stay with him for a day and a night. Then walking up the mountain to look over the Dachstein range, which we conquered on its glacier side some 15 years ago.

Thänks Willi for all the conversations (politics, flowers, family and much more), the sunflower seeds, the Zwetschgendatschi, the Pfifferlinge and Knödel, the wine and above all the views.
