Now, the Tim Steed Cottage is something else. A pure feast in wood.

Tim Stead was and artist and artisan who made furniture for galleries, castles, cathedrals. Yet it was the open intuitive, untutored response of ordinary people that most nourished him.

Thanks to Tavienne the new Director and Sandy, one of the board members for a lovely lunch and plenty of information about this inspiring place.
