Intertale/Eutopia Stop 15: Hotel Belvedere, Cerbère, Catalogne

Almost like a gift (thanks to the recommendation of the lovely Clara Gari) we ended up at the Hotel Belvedere in Cerbère, where once the likes of Josephine Baker resided. Built in 1932 in the overall appearance of a ship, it is now a historic monument. Untouched by today’s tourism trade, you can wonder around the beautiful art deco building with its many facets, including a cinema, theatre and roof top site. Full of details, even in our little apartment it has contained its art-deco Charme.

We missed last week’s cinema festival, but watched a theatre play on Kafka’s letters to his father. A little book that resonates with my and maybe many others live.

Put it on your bucket list before the developers get it.
