Rücki meets Rucky

The end of SlowCoast500 also marks the retirement of Rücki, my loyal companion of 25 years. She found a protégé, who I am introducing here today on the way back to Aberdeenshire where we continue with Mountain to Sea and our pink tablecloth.

Rücky was the most loyal walking partner that accompanied me across the spine of the Alps, over the Rwenzori Mountains, across Ethiopia and joined me on all my munros around Scotland. I am grateful to a very loyal partner in journeys near and far.
